Dr. David Darko-Mensah is a seasoned Ghanaian-American engineer with over 23 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, specializing in systems, networking, cybersecurity, and engineering management. He has a passion for mentoring and developing young Africans in the US and diaspora to pursue careers in tech.

  • Bachelors in Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Southern Polytechnic State University
  • Associate Degree in Computer Networking, Gwinnett Technical College

Darko Institute

The Darko Institute (DI) was founded in 2016 to bridge the technical skills and mentorship gap which prevented young African talents from underserved backgrounds from attaining careers in technology. DI provides training and development programs in systems engineering, technical project management, network engineering, and security. Over the past eight years, DI has trained over 100 people in African countries and the US, who have gone on to successful careers in tech.
